CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Grant Thornton LLP, the U.S. member firm of Grant Thornton International Ltd, has been named an RSA® alliance partner. This alliance will combine Grant Thornton’s cyber risk proficiency with certain RSA industry-leading Business-Driven Security™ solutions, which uniquely link business context with security incidents to help organizations manage risk and protect what matters most.

In addition to building RSA technology into Grant Thornton’s service offerings and developing a core group of practitioners knowledgeable of RSA products, Grant Thornton has also worked with the RSA Alliances team on joint go-to-market initiatives to address new customer segments and verticals.

By bringing best-in-class security solutions with high-quality professional services, Grant Thornton can now provide businesses joint security and risk capabilities across parts of the RSA Business-Driven Security portfolio and Grant Thornton practice areas.

The new capability is designed to help companies fully utilize RSA solutions to uniquely link business context with security incidents to help organizations manage risk and protect what matters most. In addition, it helps companies to uncover immediate and long term risks, while also providing technical design, implementation and support services.

“The current cyber risk landscape is consistently evolving with new threats and vulnerabilities, which ultimately affects how businesses grow and operate,” said Vishal Chawla, national managing principal for Grant Thornton’s Cyber Risk Advisory Services practice. “Through our alliance, our clients will now enjoy fully utilized software advantages of RSA, while also benefiting from the firm’s respected cyber risk insights to better manage risk. “The negative consequences of cyber incidents and breaches can have a massive financial impact on all companies whether they are large, small, public or private,” said Scott Cogan, director of RSA Strategic Alliances. “RSA’s Business-Driven Security approach arms customers and other partners with the right context and tools so they can make better decisions, in real-time, regarding how to address these risks. RSA is excited to work closely with Grant Thornton, and their team of qualified specialists, to make business-driven security outcomes a reality for their customers.”
